This Lafayette comes with original box.how cool is that?!? Also comes with a vintage cord that may be original to the guitar as it was in the box when I received it.

The 5th and 9th dot inlays were missing when I got the guitar but have been installed by a professional luthier. A shim has been added in the neck pocket. The neck does have a bit of relief but as shown in the video the neck plays fine up and down the fingerboard but it’s not the lowest action. As mentioned there is no adjustable truss rod it was probably assumed that the thickness of the neck would negate any need for adjustments. Probably the chunkiest neck I’ve ever come across. The neck has a super beefy baseball bat thickness. Despite there being a truss rod cover there is no adjustable truss rod access underneath the cover is purely decorative. The string nut looks like it may have been modified or, possibly, not original.I don’t know for sure but looks like extra grooves were notched on it (but not all the way across). Guitar measures 25” from nut to bridge (12 1/2” from nut to 12th fret). These old rocker switches can be kind of finicky, both pickup selector rockers work fine as does the “Clear / Soft” rocker which acts like a bass cut (clear is bright and soft is dark), the “Solo / Rhythm” switch is intermittent but you can dial it in with a little finesse (see video demo). Very cool 2 tone green finish looks fantastic but does show some wear (see pics).
All electronics work and these gold foil pickups sound great.
